And why is this worth it? Balázs Schipp and Máté Gyenes answer this question, who are members of our scholarship programme.

Balázs is studying electric engineering at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. He was always interested in IT, that’s why he’s majoring in embedded microcomputer systems. He heard about ITSH at a computer networks class, where he teacher was a colleague of ours.

‘I had the chance to meet the employees of ITSH during an off-site exam, they told me about the E-LIT scholarship programme, so I applied after that. And since February, I’ve been working here too. I What I love most about it is the flexible working hours: on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I’m usually at school and I work on Thursday and Friday. The friendly atmosphere, the professional challenges and the colleagues all make this job the more exciting. I can get a marketable experience here.’

Máté Gyenes is also a student of the University of Pécs, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology; he studies computer science engineering. Máté applied for our programme during the summer and he’s been an employee of ITSH for almost three months.

‘My main motivation was to get experience before receiving my degree. Though I knew the company before, but I’ve heard about E-LIT in a project management class and the university job day. I liked that in the first semester you only have to work 10 hours, and it increases gradually semester by semester. Thus, I don’t have to neglect my studies but still, I can work. The scholarship and the opportunity to get a full-time job after receiving my degree was only the cherry on top.’
