GDG DevFest returned to Budapest, Hungary after the first time since 2017, powered by Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions.

It brought together developers, managers and speaker from all around the world on 5th November to a virtual environment. The whole event was live streamed through the day online on and on the Facebook page of GDG.

All the participants this year could’ve expected the level of professionalism that is always guaranteed, with multiple tracks focusing on Public Cloud & Cloud Native topics, 20+ speakers including tech evangelists, experts and wizards from Hungary and all around the globe.

It should be mentioned that it was a huge challenge for both us and GDG, because this year the event couldn’t be organized in the same way as it always was. Because of the pandemic weighing down the world right now, we had to figure out a way that the event will be just as interesting and exciting for people as it was in its usual form. However, we can say that it was managed pretty well and we did the best that was possible in this difficult, troublesome situation.

Well, on the morning of the 5th November at 10 a.m. the event kicked off and it gathered together more the 400 participants who were more than excited to listen to the speeches presented by the speakers in an online environment. It can be confidently said that the event was a success and brought together as many attendees as it was possible. We were more than grateful for the participants and the speakers, presenters as well, because without their dedication to their profession it would not have been possible.

Most of the presentations are available online on, so if there’s anyone who is curious or left out some speeches they wanted to listen to, the possibility is given, just click on the link: and enjoy.

We hope that you all had a great time and will attend our next event!

Until then take care, see you soon!
