IT Services Hungary Telekom IT MCS and CSO division, working in cooperation with the German T-Systems Telekom IT organization, provides comprehensive systems integration IT services for the development and maintenance of German DT AG business IT systems. With nearly 400 highly qualified, experienced consultants, developers and testers speaking fluent German and English, the service line specializes in cross-border projects and services. Members of staff have international qualifications (PMI/PMP, ITIL Expert, ISTQB AL, SCRUM MASTER), while the organization holds CMMI DEV 1.3 Maturity Level 3 certification.

Billing
Principle areas of MCS Billing: Billing Classic, Mediation, Middleware & Postbilling, Rating & Billing, which in large part deals with the development, testing and maintenance of various Deutsche Telekom/Telekom IT billing systems. From 2006, our colleagues have taken an ever greater share in the operation of the systems concerned, and which today in effect covers the entire billing process (mediation, rating, billing, post-billing). Alongside development/testing, and as a consequence of effective cooperation over the past few years, we have also taken over architect and project management positions on numerous systems, which guarantee successful cooperation in the long term.
Billing Services
The work of the MCS SAP division can be divided into three main elements. One of our most important competences is SAP, where within SAP we provide a full range of services from consultancy through development and testing to operation. Our greatest experience is in the fields of Billing, Accounting, HR, BI and Logistics. Our second primary skill set is in the application development and testing of Mobile Billing systems. Our third and relatively new area of expertise is IT support for product management and tariff configuration of Billing systems.
Testing
The core activity of CSO Testing is software quality assurance: experts take part in Telekom IT CSO software testing projects; their sphere of activities extends to cover test management, test planning and test implementation. More recently, alongside testing there has been considerable emphasis placed on development and system support activities as well.
Staff in this service line are offered continuous professional further training. In the course of running their projects, staffers maintain close contacts with their colleagues abroad, and irrespective of their job, they have opportunities to spend time working abroad. The supportive, cooperative workplace environment is supplemented with team building sessions, family days and numerous other communal programmes. The service line’s projects and development-testing team are constantly being expanded in line with the strategy of T-Systems.
AD/AM
Primary tasks of the CSO Application Development / Application Maintenance (AD/AM) organisation are application development and application maintenance. Our experts work with different heterogen systems and various technologies (CRM, SAP, Java, IBM Websphere, Oracle).
Staff in this service line are offered continuous professional further training. In the course of running their projects, staffers maintain close contacts with their colleagues abroad, and irrespective of their job, they have opportunities to spend time working abroad. The supportive, cooperative workplace environment is supplemented with team building sessions, family days and numerous other communal programmes. The service line’s projects and development-testing team are constantly being expanded in line with the strategy of T-Systems International.
CMMI DEV
On 27th of November 2015 IT Services Hungary has successfully passed the CMMI DEV Maturity Level 3 renewal audit.
IT Services Hungary’s Systems Integration (SI) service line was first awarded CMMI certification back in 2012. This certificate is a verification of the capability and maturity of an organization including the people and processes. CMMI Institute worked out the globally-adopted capability improvement framework, and building upon an organization’s business performance objectives, it provides a set of practices for improving processes, resulting in a system that paves the way for better operations and performance.
In the wake of organizational restructuring in 2015, most of the ITSH SI colleagues have been continuing their activities in Tel IT MCS completed the renewal audit in 2015, which was performed by a SEI certified audit partner of the international CMMI Institute. Even though the renewal audit was not prescribed for us, our objective was to receive an external “SCAMPI A” assessment of the level of maturity of the organisation and to maintain our competitiveness. CMMI conducts auditing and certification of organizations according to an extremely strict set of criteria, and Tel IT MCS was able to fulfil these requirements on 27th November with flying colours and was awarded CMMI Maturity Level 3 certification: all 337 goals of the 17 processes areas were rated as fully implemented and satisfied.
In the course of the assessment Tel IT MCS colleagues received exclusively positive feedback, including the following comments:
- The organization demonstrates a significant growth in maturity over the past 3 years.
- Delivery Excellence framework was established.
- A new infrastructure (SharePoint) has been developed to support organizational processes.
- There was major improvement in the training system.
- High level management reviews are institutionalized and regularly take place where process- and measurement KPI-related feedback is given and analysed.
- Awareness regarding mandatory organizational standards and tailoring can be found at all levels in the organization.
- The Risk Management process is known by all relevant stakeholders and efficiently used.
Proof of the high level of performance from the team is also apparent in positive client feedbacks. This certification, of which only two organizations in Hungary can boast of holding, is absolute confirmation that our maturity, state of preparedness and skills match the very highest criteria.
